Second Skin

Second Skin was a personal project looking at projecting textures and patterns onto skin and the quality of light that the different surfaces reflected.

When I first shot this project in 2010, I took it down the route of working with the patterns and overlaying them in Photoshop to give it a more polished finish. However, when I revisited the idea a few years later, I prefereds to work with the original projected patterns. I feel like a whole new project has presented itself again and look forward to experimenting with the range of ideas that now surround it.
