Matt Cardle | Nobody

Matt Cardle released his single ‘Nobody’ along side one of the most beautiful and soul reaching videos I have seen in a while. Directed by Sean Robinson and light and shot by Josh White I was honoured to be asked to photograph the unit stills for them.

Matt was fantastic to work with and an extremely talented individual who puts everything he has, into his performances.

Seans approach to the track and communicating the narrative of the song to the viewer was very powerful. singing a long in a blacked out studio, Matt is surrounded by darkness, providing us with a sense of being alone, whilst being in an intimate situation with the song, lyrics and singer. The all consuming darkness elevated the lyrics and the emotion behind them, conveyed alongside the extremely moving performance given by Matt.
