NOT JUST A SPORT | Fulham Reach Boat Club

WELCOME TO FULHAM REACH BOAT CLUB

Fulham Reach Boat Club is a registered charity with a vision of Rowing for All.  We aim to give access to rowing to a cross-section of our community, especially those who are most in need because of financial hardship or social circumstance and help them realise their full potential both on and off the water.

There is not a moment that goes by that I am not grateful for my Fulham Reach Family. There is a silver lining to every day, be it a young adult saying an earnest thank you in person; that glorious penny drop moment we all ( as teachers and coaches) crave in our sessions; to a ‘some sort of city exec’ finding peace from their day on the water…. and that is not to mention the unity and friendship we find as coaches in this strange terrain at all hours of the day!

It really is a remarkable place!

A charity to get those who do not have access or exposure to the water a chance to experience and learn how to row on it and all this sport brings with it. ‘Rowing for All’ Indeed!

And where would we be with out the avid supporters, the tireless members who promote and champion the work we do, the mission we share… So! as a thank you, I went to their rowing training camp in Henley-on-Thames, the home of The Henley Regattas and told their story!
