London In Lockdown

March 19th 2020, we all experienced something that would change our lives dramatically and perhaps, forever.

The UK went into Lockdown due to Covid-19.

With the priority being to manage the amount of infected so as not to overwhelm the NHS.

While this left many people jobless, terrified, lonely and starving (me included) the people in England came to gather to help their fellow neighbours in a less fortunate position, as much as possible.

Living in London saw a dramatic change to the streets and feel of the city. busy and alive one day and deserted the next. like something out of a disaster movie it feels lost and alone, Erie and empty for the first time in my life.

Knowing that this time in our lives would be monumental, I used my government issued exercise time to photograph my beloved city to immortalise the impact Lockdown has had on our lives.

Please note that I was alone at all times, wearing a mask and made sure to not touch annoying on my journey around London.
