I was more that on-board when asked by the founders, Cherise and Javier if I was available to photograph the pretty roots bamboo washable pads, for their branded content and online sales. I really enjoyed their approach to their photography and brand, providing briefs and brand guides so that I really understood their mission and where they saw the product and brand going in the future.
This really helps when it comes to understanding what they need from their photography and their brand content.
Having such a united understanding of what their brand is and what it means to them really helps me tailor the photography and lighting to their needs and produce a range of images that really support their brand goals.
It was a fantastic way to work and is very rewarding seeing their launch and have their product resonate through social media and online

Each make up remover pad is made from a soft bamboo fabric that can be washed hundreds of times. At Pretty Roots we carefully designed our bamboo pads to make sure they keep their original shape and quality over time.
Our bamboo makeup pads are soft and gentle for all skin types, even sensitive ones. Use them with your regular products as you would do with disposable cotton pads and they clean your pores and remove your makeup, even waterproof.
The Pretty Roots pads are made with 80% bamboo and 20% cotton. The 18 pieces come with a cotton laundry bag and the packaging is completely plastic-free. We made sure our product is safe for both you and the environment.
You will use these reusable makeup pads for about a year, so you will do a lot of good to our planet, but you will also save a lot of money by avoiding buying disposable cotton wool pads.
